The Huntingburg Foundation was instrumental in the planning and construction of this new facility with meeting, banquet, and conference space available for use by all members of the community. The Center is a great asset for the community in providing a space for gatherings.
Since 2005, Huntingburg Foundation served as lead developer and owner of the $3.8 million facility. Since its completion, the Foundation sought to create a separate, independent charitable organization to manage the facility long-term. As of July 1, 2009, the operations were fully turned over to the newly formed HECC, Inc. board.
