Community Impact Grants - ONGOING
The Foundation seeks to serve as a funding partner to charitable causes designed to enrich the community, our Foundation, and your organization. In order to become a funding partner (i.e. receive grants or assistance from the Foundation), you must understand the approach taken to distribute the limited resources our Foundation has available to award the community. (For example, the Foundation does not seek to simply "fill a funding gap" or "provide a one-time gift." Rather, we seek to become a funding partner by which the organization seeking our assistance becomes more sustainable and empowered to achieve its mission).
Our Approach to Making Grants:
• Initiative: The agenda is totally drive by the Foundation, with focus on new ideas and high engagement from a variety of sectors-government, nonprofit organizations (NPOs), business, etc. emphasis on problem solving with clear return of outcomes.
• Pro-active: Grants are usually clustered around related subjects with specific results in mind; typically, the agenda is not driven by the Foundation but the partner organizations, individuals, and agencies.
• Collaborative: Narrow target issue(s) are defined by collective partners to develop specific impact, perhaps coalition-type relationships are engaged; typically, the agenda is not driven by the Foundation but the partner organizations, individuals, and agencies.

Choosing the right approach depends on assessing what type and intensity will best facilitate addressing issues and community needs, as well as the capacity of the Foundation or its funding-partners in driving the agenda. We are looking for dedicated, highly-motivated causes and nonprofits to serve as funding partners and be a catalytic force in the community.
